Probably the most discerning question that could be asked is this:
Do you KNOW your Joy ?
ie. Is there at least one moment in your day in which you feel completely content, Joyous and almost overwhelmed with Gratitude ?
Or is that state of being something which you have only imagined and never actually experienced ?
If the answer is no, then discovering your Joy is the task at hand if you wish to improve the quality of your life.
If the answer is yes, and you are not, for whatever reasons, in that state all or most of the time, then attention needs to be given to discovering what is distracting you from or sabotaging your efforts to experience Joy more often.
I manage several short bursts a day. Going for walks along the beach when the weather allows or a potter around in the garden. Doing arty things which I have not done in a long time or meditation.
Maria, Thanks for sharing how you manage.
As you see it is quite easy to manage, nature is so giving.
I love being around water. I also love being in the woods. Both are very calming to my soul.
I love being in the woods.
That is beautiful Linda, the best of both worlds.
That looks magical Michael.
